On a tub-to-shower conversion we pull the old tub and move the drainage. If you are putting in an acrylic base, we come back and mount it when the room is ready for us. If you are tiling, we get the drain assembly ready for the tiler and come back after the tile is finished to set the trim. Knowing that up front makes the rest of your schedule easier to plan.
The decorative trims, the shower head and handles, mounting the toilet, and the drain connections that let the vanity go in. Toilet paper holders, towel bars and shower doors are usually installed by someone else.
For most bathroom renovations, the plumbing portion includes the rough-in, any required relocations, valves, connections, and installation of standard fixtures.
The final price depends mainly on how much the plumbing has to move, the existing layout, and the fixtures you choose.
