On a tub-to-shower conversion we pull the old tub and move the drainage. If you are putting in an acrylic base, we come back and mount it when the room is ready for us. If you are tiling, we get the drain assembly ready for the tiler and come back after the tile is finished to set the trim. Knowing that up front makes the rest of your schedule easier to plan.
