Swap a leaking or seized tap for a frost-free one. $300 plus HST.

How a frost-free tap works. The valve closes inside your warm wall, and the stem drains out.
Take the hose off in winter or it will not be able to drain.
The connection matters
Washer and dishwasher leaks usually start at an old rubber hose or a valve that hasn’t been turned in years. Replacing them at install costs little and prevents the biggest water damage claims we see.

Yes. The cost depends on the job: hooking up a new fridge where a water line already exists is the simplest, while running a new line to a spot that never had one costs more. Access matters too, such as whether we can reach the route the line has to take through a basement ceiling, cabinets or finished walls. Tell us what you have and we will give you the price before we start.
Yes, we remove the old appliance. If it has to go up or down several floors, or there are other access limits, let us know when you book, as that costs extra.
